Community Guidelines

These Community Guidelines explain what is and isn’t allowed on dopaMe. They exist to keep the platform safe, respectful, and enjoyable for everyone. By using dopaMe, you agree to follow these guidelines. They form part of our Terms of Service.

1. Who These Guidelines Apply To

These guidelines apply to all users of the dopaMe app, including anyone who creates or shares trips, events, descriptions, images, messages, comments, or invitations.

2. Community Do’s

• Be respectful and kind to other travelers.
• Use real photos and accurate information.
• Be honest about your travel plans and availability.
• Verify plans and details before meeting someone in person.
• Report suspicious, unsafe, or inappropriate behavior.
• Meet in public places first and use common sense when connecting offline.

3. Community Don’ts

• Do not harass, threaten, stalk, or bully other users.
• Do not post illegal, offensive, hateful, or harmful content.
• Do not impersonate another person, brand, or agency.
• Do not promote scams, spam, or fake trips or events.
• Do not advertise commercial services unless using an authorized agency account.
• Do not request or share personal documents such as IDs or passports.
• Do not misuse, collect, or share other users’ personal data.

4. Visual Content Guidelines (Photos & Images)

To keep dopaMe visually safe and trustworthy, all uploaded images must follow these rules.

Images must:

• Be high-resolution and clear (no pixelation or blur).
• Meet the recommended minimum resolution of 1080 × 1350 pixels.
• Be uploaded in JPG or PNG format.
• Use RGB color mode.
• Be correctly oriented (not rotated or stretched).
• Respect privacy and consent.

Images must NOT:

• Contain text overlays or heavy watermarks.
• Include people’s faces without proper consent.
• Include minors.
• Contain sexually explicit, suggestive, or offensive material.
• Display hate symbols, political messaging, or religious targeting.
• Show violence, weapons, drugs, or illegal activities.
• Make medical, financial, visa, or immigration guarantees.

5. Privacy & Safety

• Do not share screenshots of private messages without consent.
• Do not publish someone else’s phone number, social media, or personal details.
• Do not pressure other users to move conversations outside the app.
• Always protect your own personal and financial information.

6. Reporting & Blocking

You can report or block a user directly from their profile or chat screen. Reports are reviewed by our team and may result in content removal, restrictions, or account action.

If you believe you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.

7. Age Requirement

dopaMe is intended for users aged 18 and above. Content involving minors may be removed and accounts may be suspended.

8. Moderation & Enforcement

dopaMe reserves the right to review, remove, restrict, or disable content or accounts that violate these guidelines or our Terms of Service. Repeated or serious violations may result in permanent account removal.

9. Relationship to the Terms of Service

These Community Guidelines are part of dopaMe’s Terms of Service. If there is a conflict between these guidelines and the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service will apply.
